1. Introduction

Welcome to QiVector (“the Service”), owned and operated by QiVector Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16856705). Our website is located at qivector.com.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QiVector is a subscription-based online tool designed for feng shui consultants. Features include floorplan uploads, compass/orientation tools, sector calculations, mapping integrations, and reporting tools.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account, provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

QiVector is offered on a subscription basis. Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle manages billing, invoicing, and tax collection. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or through Paddle’s customer portal. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse engineer features, bypass security, or upload unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, and materials provided through the Service are the intellectual property of QiVector Ltd. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business purposes.

8. Service Availability

We aim for uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee error-free operation or continuous availability of external integrations (such as Google Maps API). We may update or discontinue features where necessary.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QiVector Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business, or data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

Privacy Policy

Data Controller

For the purposes of UK data protection law (including UK GDPR), QiVector Ltd acts as the Data Controller for personal data processed through the Service. QiVector Ltd is registered in England and Wales (Company No: 16856705) with its registered office in London, United Kingdom. 1. Data We Collect

We collect account information, usage data, uploaded project data, and billing information (handled by Paddle—we do not store card details).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the Service, authenticate your account, process payments, communicate updates, and ensure security. We do not sell or rent personal data.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, we process data based on contract, legitimate interests, and consent (for optional marketing).

4. Third-Party Services

We share necessary data with trusted providers such as Paddle, hosting providers, and Google Maps API. These providers receive only the data required for their functions.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and project data (including uploaded floor plans and reports) for as long as your account remains active. If you cancel your subscription but keep your account open, your projects and uploads will remain stored, although access to certain features may be restricted until you resume a paid plan. We currently retain project data for at least 90 days after a subscription lapses; after this period, we may permanently delete inactive projects in line with this policy.

If you delete your account or request that we delete your data, we will permanently delete your projects, uploaded floor plans, and associated content from our active systems within a reasonable period, subject to any retention required for legal or regulatory purposes. Backup copies may continue to exist for a limited time in encrypted backups before being overwritten, but they are not used for any active processing.

We may retain limited billing and transactional records (for example, information relating to payments processed by Paddle) for up to six years as required by tax and accounting laws.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your data. Requests can be made by contacting us at support@qivector.com.

7. International Transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, hosting providers or Paddle) may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms approved under UK data protection law.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Service and, where implemented, to understand how the Service is used. Some cookies are strictly necessary for security and core functionality (for example, to keep you signed in). Optional analytics or preference cookies, if used, will only be set with your consent and can be managed via your browser settings or any cookie controls we provide.

Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, users may test the Service before billing begins. Refunds do not apply to free trial periods.

2. Subscription Refunds

Refunds may be granted only if a technical failure prevents use of the Service, you notify us within 7 days of billing, and we cannot resolve the issue. Refunds are not issued for failure to cancel before renewal, change of mind, or lack of use.
